Senator Reid’s Bill

December 11th, 2010 Leave a comment Go to comments

For the past week or so, the poker world has been buzzing over Senator Reid’s bill to license and regulate online poker in the United States.  Certainly, such legislation could greatly change the current online poker landscape.  At this point, it appears unlikely the current tax cuts bill will include poker regulation.  Even if it does not, all hope is not lost.

The debate regarding online poker legalization has been ongoing in Congress for quite some time.  The fact that Reid has come this close to having the online poker component attached to the tax cuts bill indicates online poker legalization is fairly imminent.  When that day comes, taxdood will provide his take and discuss with y’all.  Perhaps a special podcast or online Q&A will be in store.
